How it all started...
Stuart and Jenny Agnew with their two children and a band of believers, planted The Tribe Church on the 6th of August 2006 out of New Covenant Church Bryanston.
Church plants...
They were later led by the Lord to plant The Tribe Parys, which they did on the 18th March 2012 with the idea of having two unique congregations but the same vision and values.
On the 24th September 2017, the Agnews ordained Thinus and Santie Nortje as elders, to pastor the Tribe Church in Parys. The Nortjes moved from Jhb to Parys in obedience to the call of God. They have a deep love for the people of the town they’ve dubbed “The City of Glory.” In Nov. 2021 Tribe Parys became Ecclesia Family Church under the Nortje’s eldership.
We love the local church and believe that God will lead us to plant more apostolic, prophetic churches in the future.
